Diana D Barnes

Prior to being licensed in 1994, Diana Barnes (or "D" as her friends, family & clients call her) has over 40 years background in customer service, marketing & sales.  Whether direct sales, selling radio advertising or campaigning for non-profit organizations, "D" knows the value of getting out among the people who need, want & can benefit from her services.  In her early twenties, she relocated from Florida to Vail, CO.  After falling in love with the great Rocky Mountains, she moved to southern Colorado where she met her future husband. The two were wed after 3 months of dating and will celebrate 38 years of marriage in 2022.  They have 2 sons, 1 daughter in law & 2 grandchildren.   Family is very important to her and she spends any spare time she has getting together with family, planning events for "chosen" family and connecting with clients that have become "family". "D" has spent almost three decades helping families find their place to call home.  Much of her business is referral & repeat business.  Her real estate family tree now spans 4-6 generations in some families (assisting grandparents, parents, siblings, children & grandchildren in the same family).  "D" has served on various real estate committees including Risk Reduction, Education, Grievance & Professional Standards.  She is a graduate of both the NVAR Leadership Academy & LVR Leadership. 

"D" is passionate about helping Active Duty & Veterans reach their homeownership goals.  Having had many generations of her family serve in the military, understands the impact the PCS move and retiring from active duty can have on a family. Currently her oldest son is an active-duty U.S. Army Officer and Chaplain.  Having earned the MRP-Military Relocation Professional certificate gives her additional insight and training combined with her own personal experiences makes her well-equipped to serve the men and women of the military.  

She actively serves in the community and has coordinated, planned, promoted & presented at numerous retreats, conferences, educational events, teas :), & more.  "D" leadership style is a Visionary-Servant-Coach and is not afraid to do the work needed alongside others while guiding and collaborating to bring out the best in those around her.  With a wealth of experience, "D" is your perfect choice!
